When planting select a position with well drained soil. Prepare your ground to a depth of 25cm, ensuring the soil is light and friable. Solomons Seal will benefit from some well composted manure or organic material mixed into their growing area. Lie the rhizomes horizontal, and cover with 10cm of soil. Water in to eliminate air pockets.
Solomons Seal is winter dormant, and can be harvested and spread around over the winter months.
