Gladioli love the warmth, but with that being said they are remarkably drought hardy, requiring little summer watering. They do require a full sun to part shade position to ensure they do not become leggy. Average height to 1.5m, gladioli are strong, and only rarely require staking. Gladioli are a highly sought after cut flower, and make for an exceptional addition to any picking garden.
