A unique and different berry relatively new to the Australian market. The rich deep red/black fruit is the result of crossing a Gooseberry with a Black Currant. Strong growing, they produce vigorous plant with fruit flavoured somewhere between that of a gooseberry and a black currant. Fruit can be eaten raw or cooked, and used as a substitute for both the Gooseberry or Black Currant.
Supplied as large second year canes.
We no longer supply to WA or TAS. Please allow up to 14 days for processing orders. Berries are available until the end of August unless sold out prior. Larger quantities are available upon request.
